Pacific City, Oregon

We took a vacation to Pacific City this week. My friend Lori came and off we went. Jonathon got to stay home and enjoy a few days of peace and quiet! We found a house that was already baby proofed, so we could relax a bit and let them play with some toys they found in the house. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.





We drove to Newport. Beautiful coastline along the way.

Newport has some wild sealions that migrate up and hang out in search of sun.



The next day we cruised north to Manzanita. They got to play with their new beach toys! We also learned a good lesson. Don't bother even trying to picnic at the beach with babies. Sand sand everywhere!

We're just a couple of bucket heads!




We drove back through the Scenic Three Capes Loop. Breathtaking views along this twisty and windy road.


We got home with plenty of time to play on the deck!

We found a waterfall on the way home. Had to travel up a forest road for a bit, but what a beautiful sight!

We stopped at our favorite winery on the way home - Shafer Winery.
