Snakes, Dinasaurs, Barbie and Ken
We got to see mommy FREAK OUT today like we've never seen in our lives! You see, mommy doesn't like snakes. Even though she taught us the word. But today Mortimer decided to bring a snake into the house!! We were not sure what to do when mommy nearly had a heart attack! Thank heavens Ran had her wits about her and chased Mortimer out of the house with the snake still in his jaws. Then she even captured it with our favorite toy, the fly swater and our little play bucket! She removed it from the property. Otherwise mommy would be abandoning the house screaming down the cul de sac!

Mommy better get used to snakes - and mice, and frogs, and salamanders, and, and, and, and . . . . After Travis started catching critters we set up a terrarium in the house for the "guests" to spend a night or two - EXCEPT SNAKES!! I always said that if a snake comes in the house the boys had to decide if they wanted the snake to sleep in the house or the Momma to sleep in the house. So far the Momma won everytime. BUT, the Momma has come around, it took 8 years, but Travis caught the cutest little snake (no more than 5 inches long) a month ago and Momma let it stay the night in the Terrarium!! Funny story and I can certainly see Michelle (or any member of the Wright Family) running down the street if a snake is involved.
